Navajo Nation Police Academy and for the National Tribal Trial College

Brenna Hanley [Dine’] is a Senior Tribal Prosecutor with the Navajo Nation Prosecutor’s Office. Her clans are Kinyaa’aanii (Towering House), Tó’ahéédlinii (Water Flows Together), Ashííh (Salt People), and Tachiinii (Red Running into the Water People). Brenna is a member of the Navajo Nation Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the Navajo Nation Tribal Courts.

Ms. Hanley has ten plus years of experience working in administration and management for the United States Air Force, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and, currently, with the Navajo Nation Office of the Prosecutor. Ms. Hanley obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University; a Master of Arts in Psychology (specializing in Criminology and Justice studies) from the University of the Rockies; and a Certificate in Tribal Court Legal Advocacy from the National Tribal Trial College at the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Ms. Hanley serves as faculty for the Navajo Nation Police Academy and for the National Tribal Trial College.
